İngiliz Film ve Televizyon Sanatları Akademisi (BAFTA) 2025 yılının BAFTA Games Awards kazananlarını açıkladı ve bu gece, Astro Bot oyununun gecesi oldu; beğenilen PlayStation 5 oyunu, En İyi Oyun da dahil olmak üzere beş kategoride ödülü evine götürdü.
Astro Bot yapıtının En İyi Oyun zaferi, diğer adaylar Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers 2, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom ve Thank Goodness You’re Here yapıtını geride bırakmasını sağladı. BAFTA Games Awards dahilinde Animasyon, Ses Başarısı, Aile ve Oyun Tasarımı kategorilerinde de aynı derecede başarılı oldu.
Team Asobi ekibinin Astro Bot oyunu yine de ilgi odağı olmadı. Geliştiricisi olan LocalThunk’ın Balatro oyunu İlk Oyun kategorisinde birinci olurken, Coal Supper ekibinin muhteşem komedi tuhaflığı Thank Goodness You’re Here, En İyi İngiliz Oyunu ödülünü aldı. Arrowhead Game Studios tarafının Helldivers 2 oyunu, çok oyunculu ve müzik kategorilerinde birinci olarak iki ödül kazanırken, Nomada Studio ekibinin Neva oyunu Sanatsal Başarı ve Atlus cephesinden Metaphor: ReFantazio da hikaye dalında diğer adayları geride bıraktı.
